EIT Digital, together with Instituto Pedro Nunes, AppleJack Lab, and PitchBob.io, is launching REWIRE: Health Tech & Wellbeing Commercialisation Lab – a 6‑week hybrid pre‑incubation programme helping researchers turn early‑stage health tech ideas into investor‑ready ventures. The programme concludes with a 3‑day in‑person Bootcamp and Demo Day in Lisbon; accommodation during the bootcamp is covered (participants cover travel). Applications are open until 15 September 2025, with rolling admission – early applications encouraged.

Who should apply?

MSc/PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, and academic staff affiliated with a university or research organisation in the EU or a Horizon Europe–associated country; early‑career researchers are particularly welcome. Individuals or teams may apply; no prior entrepreneurial experience is required.

What you get:

• 6 weeks of online training and tailored mentoring + 3‑day Lisbon bootcamp;

• hands‑on support in IP valorisation, early clinical validation, business modelling, and EU fundraising (e.g., Horizon Europe, EIC);

• access to expert mentors and the PitchBob.ai venture design tool for pitch development;

• free participation for selected candidates; accommodation provided during the bootcamp.
